Born and raised in central Minnesota, Allison Phleger has always been passionate about the equine industry. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and Equine Science from North Dakota State University while gaining hands-on experience at a local equine breeding, lesson, and training farm. Her career has taken her through various roles, from working at a Standardbred harness track in MN. Then moving to Lexington KY to complete the Kentucky Equine Management Internship (KEMI) at Shawhan Place LLC  She then started working as an ambulatory Reproduction Equine Technician at Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital. She later expanded her expertise by working at Rood & Riddle’s Veterinary Pharmacy and as an account manager specializing in farm insurance and equine liability at Sterling Thompson Insurance Company.

As a Mustad rep, she combines deep equine industry knowledge with a passion for working directly with professionals in the field and endeavors to impact the industry she loves.

Outside of work, Allison enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her large pup, Chance. She’s an avid animal and outdoor enthusiast who loves skiing, horseback riding, hiking, camping, cooking, and discovering new restaurants and breweries.
