Eventing (also known as horse trials) is an equestrian event where a single horse and rider combination compete against other combinations in the three disciplines of dressage, cross-country and show jumping.

Grew up in Upstate New York. He was active in showing quarter horses until he went to college at West Texas A&M University. He attended Cornell for the Farrier program in 2003. After graduating from that program, he finished his marketing degree from SUNY Oswego. Shortly after, he got a job at an adhesive MFG in the farrier industry where he worked for 13 years. During this time, he built relationships and managed the North East USA and Eastern Canada. He took a position at Mustad in May 2020. He currently lives in Baldwinsville NY. Kris enjoys running, traveling and spending time with his 27 year old quarter horse.

North America, Racing & Sport

Rob is Mustad's racing and sport horse specialist, contributing to product development and forming strong alliances with farriers and Mustad dealers throughout North America. He was raised in Central KY working with his father in the horse industry focusing on Thoroughbred racing and equine rehabilitation. He was blessed to work with some top horses in various disciplines and learn from numerous farriers, trainers, and veterinarians. Rob went on to attend the University of Louisville and KCTCS studying Equine Business Management. He has several years of Sales experience with farrier and equine products and values the relationships he has forged. Rob is passionate about the Farrier industry and the well-being of the horse. He values family time with his wife Laura and children Taylor, Sarah and Clark. Rob enjoys golfing, college sports, and his favorite athlete is Secretariat.
