Mustad BaseMax
The perfect combination of tradition and innovation
The Mustad BaseMax is a traditionally ¾-fullered European riding horseshoe. It is the successor to the popular BM shoe. BaseMax horseshoes have their clips drawn out of the metal from the web of the shoe in traditional style. Its inside clip has an optimal position to offer maximum support. The nail holes of this range are also punched slightly coarser making it possible to fit the shoe slightly wider to the hoof or to accommodate thicker-walled hooves.

Good to know
- section width equal from heel to toe
- equal weight bearing due to symmetrical nail hole positioning
- size numbers are placed right behind the crease for optimal studhole positioning
- same sizing as the LiBero family is applicable but with the difference of an inside clip
- This shoe tends to be slippery on asphalt, so for this surface we recommend adding pins or the use of road nails
- Not recommended for thin hoof walls
