Frog

The frog is underneath the hoof of a horse and has a triangular shape. It is wider at the base and points to the front of the hoof. The frog's functions are shock absorber, traction and blood pumper as the lower leg of the horse doesn't have any muscles to assit the blood flow, so with pressure on the frog it pumps the blood back up to the horse's leg. The width of the frog should be 2/3 of the length and contains about 50% water. It is also able to sweat. As it is shedding itself ithere is only a little assitance needed.
