Capsular rotation
Capsular rotation is caused by laminitis or white line disease where the dorsal hoof wall separates from the dorsal [arietal surface of the distal phalanx. Describes the divergence of the dorsal hoof wall from the dorsal parietal surface of the distal phalanx independent of the relationship of the distal phalanx with the phalangeal axis. Results from laminitis or white line disease.
