Mustad celebrates 180 years

A 180 years-long legacy,
for the better of the horse.
2012 marks the 180th annoversary of our foundation. It was in 1832 in the tiny norwegian village of Gjovik that Mustad started as a supplier of small metal objects to cover the needs of the local community.
7 generations after, Mustad has developed into a mulit-national, diversified group of companies while keeping the same entrpreneurial spirit of the founders.
